Rodgers completed just 15 of 28 passes for 133 yards with two interceptions, and the offense mustered only a field goal as the Saints routed the Packers 38-3.
The Lions, meanwhile, received their first glimpse of offseason acquisition Jared Goff, whose overall stat line made his debut seem better than it was. He threw three touchdowns and one interception, both two of those touchdowns came in the final two minutes of play with the team already trailing the 49ers 41-17. The Lions lost 41-33 on Sunday.
There is plenty of reason to think Rodgers could return to form against the Lions. Since losing both games to Detroit in 2018, Rodgers has won every matchup against the NFC North foes. He has a career record of 17-5 against the Lions with 46 touchdowns, eight interceptions and 5,662 passing yards, according to Stathead. He’s also rushed 63 times for 284 yards and four touchdowns against them.
