The Phillies are continuing their somewhat surprising winning ways through the 2022 postseason, eking out a win over the Padres in NLCS Game 1 on the back of a strong, efficient Zack Wheeler performance.

Wheeler, who missed a chunk of the season while dealing with an elbow injury, has come back strong. In Game 1 vs. the Padres, he pitched seven innings of one-hit, no-run ball, as solo shots from Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber proved to be the difference in the 2-0 win.

On Wednesday, the Padres look to even the series as they send lefty Blake Snell to the bump, and the Phillies counter with Aaron Nola.
