The Buccaneers are 3-4, somehow tied for first in the NFC South with the Falcons, and they seem to be going nowhere fast. Sunday’s Week 7 loss marked rock-bottom for the Bucs, a defeat at the hands of the Panthers less than two weeks after Carolina fired Matt Rhule. Now Tampa Bay is hosting Baltimore on a short week for “Thursday Night Football.”

The Ravens, meanwhile, also have a lot of questions they have to answer for themselves. Despite overall good numbers from Lamar Jackson, a lack of receivers and a wavering defense have them at 4-3. Much like the NFC South’s struggles, that still has them at first in the division, but the expectation wasn’t to be around .500, particularly with other teams struggling.

The Ravens, for their part, are coming off a win against the Browns. The Buccaneers’ playcalling has been uninspired, and Brady hasn’t looked like himself. To make matters worse, Mike Evans is dropping wide open touchdown passes. Will the Ravens pounce on the struggling Buccaneers? Or can the Buccaneers finally right the ship at Raymond James Stadium?
