The United States, which will be the only nation with teams this year, has seen its states win in each of the past two series, the longest streak for the nation since it won five straight from 2005 to 2009. 

With no international teams competing this year, the U.S. will crown another champion — albeit with a major asterisk — in the first Little League World Series held since 2019.
