The Trojans took care of business in their Week 1 game vs. Rice, overcoming a slow start to beat the Owls 66-14. For its performance, USC jumped four spots in the latest AP Top 25 poll, to No. 10 overall.

The Pac-12’s other ranked teams did not fare nearly as well: No. 11 Oregon was completely and thoroughly embarrassed in Atlanta, falling 49-3 to then-No. 3 Georgia. Following that, No. 7 Utah, the defending Pac-12 champion, fell 29-26 to unranked Florida after a last-second interception in the Gators’ end zone.

So, no pressure for Riley as he makes his Pac-12 debut at Stanford on Saturday.

The Trojans are 8 1/2-point favorites over the Cardinal, thanks in large part to transfers Caleb Williams and Jordan Addison, among others. But it’s worth noting that Stanford last year beat a 14th-ranked Trojans team 42-28 in Los Angeles.

That will likely weigh heavily on Riley and Co.’s minds as they head to Stanford in Week 2. With that, The Sporting News breaks down how to watch the Pac-12 meeting:
