Villanova and Michigan will meet in San Antonio on Thursday after taking very different paths to the Sweet 16. The Wildcats entered March Madness on a high note, winning their last five games and capturing the Big East Tournament title. They defeated both Delaware and Ohio State by double-digits during the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wolverines, meanwhile, stumbled to the finish line, landing on the bubble after losing five of their last nine regular-season games. They bounced back, though, taking down Colorado State and Tennessee in the first two rounds to earn their fifth straight Sweet 16 berth.
